ફલાવર વાઝમાં
મલપતાં ફુલો જોઇને ઉત્સાહમાં
મેં
બારીના પડદા ખોલ્યો તો –
ડાળે કાંટાને વળગી એક પંતગિયું
ધ્રુસકે ધ્રુસકે રડતું હતું.

મને લાગે છે કે કવિની કવિતા ભાવકને ક્યાંક બીજે જ તાણી ગઈ છે… બગીચામાંથી તોડી આણેલા ફૂલોને ફ્લાવરવાઝમાં ગોઠવ્યા પછી જ્યારે કવિ બારી ખોલે છે ત્યારે જે છોડની ડાળી પરથી ફૂલ તોડ્યાં હતાં એ છોડની ડાળી પરના કાંટાને વળગીને રડતા પતંગિયાની વેદનાનું ચિત્રણ છે આ. અહીં પતંગિયું તો જીવે જ છે પણ એ રડે છે આપણી શહેરીકરણની સંસ્કૃતિ પર… એ રડે છે વિશ્વ છોડીને આપણા દિવાનખંડની ચાર દિવાલોને શણગારવાની આપણી સ્વાર્થીવૃત્તિ પર….
સુંદર કવિતા લઈ આવ્યા છો, નેહા! પ્રીતમભાઈને પણ અભિનંદન…એમની કવિતાઓ અવારનવાર અહીંના સામયિકોમાં વાંચવા મળતી રહે છે…
